nice to discuss ptsc with you again fut. it has been a while.
well we dont talk about that because the company has pretty much shut the door to any information regarding our patents. we have heard the mantra "we are in court so we are unable to discuss", we have heard that "we must keep all dollar amounts or details confidential regarding a licensee for startegic reasons". so all aspects of the mmp are not disclosed unless we read something in a pacer. the fellas running ptsc have no control of what is released in a pacer. we receive no updates or guidance regarding our only real asset (MMP) from this group of highly qualified individuals. absolutely none. unless required. the company has pretty much been silent regarding the MMP since the resolution of the J3 litigation. our bod's last real comment on this was "we are extrmely pleased with the resolution". we were left guessing and speculating until RG stated "there are no monies to be expected from this resolution". Its been pretty much silent since then (imo). Thats about the same time that ES & Lincoln were done dumping their boatloads of shares.
--"Do you anticipate that the BOD will do something different with future MMP revs?" NO. that is why i would like to see a change in the BOD.
--"Do you anticipate they will be more successful?" NO. I think the BOD has not done well. I cant see where they deserve to remain in charge based on their past perfromances. Do you? I do believe that we would see an immediate pop in the stock price if the BOD resigned. IMO, the stock price is reflective of the markets evaluation of the BOD, not the MMP. The initial price momentum that the MMP generated ran us to over $2.00 rapidly. We started our slide when dollar amounts related to Sony were not disclosed, then an unprecedented 3 dividends (that EXPLICILTY included the debt financier whom has an employee on the PTSC BOD.). FUT you were there at the time and do you remember the discussions back then? It centered around how big the sony deal must have been to allow us to empty our treasury. The belief was that there must be big money coming from Sony or that the patent on water was a "cash cow". Our slide stared when the numbers were released in our financials. of course this is just my opinion, but that is what you asked.
--" I have to assume you must believe these things if you are holding any PTSC stock." You assume wrong. I thought I was pretty clear when I stated I hold because I am too deep underwater to sell at pennies. I am hoping for a change in the BOD or a wave of licenses to begin and i would hope the bod would not do any more "investing" for us. maybe a few nice dividends to attract the investor. yes, dividends without ES.
-"Why don't we talk more about that. " Well isnt that what we are doing? But since I mention the weak link in the chain (BOD) you no longer consider it a discussion but a "repeititious bash" or a "rehash"? it may be but that is where the problem is (IMO). the bod does not update its shareholder on any MMP details. i see a stagnant 10 cent stock, expenses exceed revenues, and an arrogant self serving over paid underperforming BOD.
"Unless you prefer to bank that drum that you accuse others of banging." YES. But I dont bang the same drum. the "drum bangers" are the folks that attack the posters, not the content of the posts. i will debate ptsc pros and cons with you. that is what the forum is about.
--"The MMP has brought in how much in MMP licensing revenue? Over $ 300 million? Out of what percent of alleged infringers having become licensees? So what does that project to if we license all potential licensees? Why don't we talk about that? " we can and should. i agree. well we do know about the over $300 million. would you like to discuss what was done with that $300 million? if you do, the we will need to discuss the BOD, wont we? that money was not managed well. the percentage of potential licenses is huge. it is an interesting topic for discussion. do you really want the same people that managed our first $300 million to manage our next $300 million? I dont. Would you like to discuss that? Fut the MMP has value. it is the stewards of the company that has a "no confidence" vote refelected in a 10 cent stock. these guys screwed up the MA, paid themselves bonuses for doing it, and absolutely failed at monitoring TPL's MMP licensing. just what is it that they have done that you would tout as a BOD success?
i dont mind discussing ptsc. this includes the MMP and the BOD. fair enough?
