FWIW...
IMO, if you have been around the story long enough, for the most part, Intel killed e.Digitals initial days.

Intel was entering a joint venture, once upon a time, with e.Digital ...no doubt utilizing the memory manufactured and marked as unusable....and had second thoughts after thinking about it.

You see, the folks at e.Digital had a game plan with one of the biggest. And for reasons unknown to us ....was abruptly extinguished. They entertained the same with others....with the same abrupt ending. e.Digital wanted to be agnostic, or non denomination to all....where, IMO, Intel had exception to that thought.

737 is one highlight of what was being utilized for Intel memory manufactured with defect.

e.Digitals methods allowed memory manufacturers to not have to produce pure and perfect memory.
