Regardless of how others "rate" and place posters in "groups", the fact remains that we went down to .087 and on the LG news got a 50% bump, it hung for a while, fizzeled a bit, then the Casio news had little effect, and we are .10 and lower than average volume again.
We in Agora share the thought that more news of setlements are on the way, we anticipate them to be more frequent as time goes on, and we also feel the number of filings will increase in quantity and speed.
This is all positive stuff, and I'll put myself in the group that believes that, but rate myself as one with cautious optomism. Forward looking PR's will help, Q over Q showing proof on the balance sheet how settlements are moving EDIG in the right direction, and announcements of eVU making sales in areas other than the airlines, and maybe an aquisition here and there, and for sure new products hitting the market, will wake up those on the side lines, then we will be on that ride we are waiting for.
We live at a time with fear of the markets, lack of confidence in Washington, a housing and credit mess of epic proportions, the highest unemployment figures in decades, 401K's, IRA's..you name it, off 40-50%, so how can we expect anything other than what we see in the PPS and volume for EDIG as we speak?
We also have an investment community menatlity of instant gratification, ala the "Y Generation." Those of us who are Baby Boombers, who have lost 1/2 of the retirement fund, have a "right" in my view, to be frustrated or not so positive as others. If the stage of ones life needs EDIG results sooner than later, it can weigh on ones mind at times, but it does not mean we don't believe in the company.
I've said it before, and critisized for it, but I'll say it again, I manage my thoughts on when EDIG will "go to the moon" by not setting my expectations too high. On the next settlement announcement, if we get another 1.6 mln, and the share price does very little or nothing, I am prepared for that and willing to stick it out until Q over Q filings eventually have the side liners getting in and we move up, and I mean way up, all of the wait will have paid off. All of the speculation in here will have become a reality, and we can cheer our little company as we witness them grow. This will happen.
In the mean time, there will be posters on both sides of the fence, some in the middle, and others not believing until they see it. I see nothing wrong with opposing views, and if you have a spouse or significant other, you know what opposing views are all about, and it can make for a great relationship...well, most of the time, and if you are by yourself and have nobody to argue with, keep it that way, or post more often in Agora to see what's it's like to be married, as someone will disagree with you.
Lastly, this board needs to refrain from name calling in an open forum. If you have a beef with someone, maybe a PM is in order, yet name calling remains an immature style that has no place in either...IMO.
Having said all the above, I firmly believe EDIG will get there, and if only I knew when, I'd tell you.
