Rainer:
It is no lie to say nothing :-). To me it seems POET is telling us the minimum and often quite cryptic. Typical when you do not want to lie, but not to tell the truth. Further it depends what kind of proof is really needed for NRE, an AOC in the market, or a mass-produced detector and logic chip (both are done, yet no contracts?).

Moska: Good argument. Helping with engineers, but also with financing (this is still the biggest burden for me to understand this crazy move). It clearly seems POET is left alone in this AOC project with Denselight.

So this is - in my eyes - an argument against A and for B: If Apple already solved some of the problems of POET, telling them would put them into a weaker position for further negotiations But it is depending on the contracts.

My idea: For reasons of secrecy, it would be wise to separate the two projects - completely. Finally for Apple there is not much value in the staff of POET and Denselight, it is just about the IP and the knowhow of GT. Apple has enough resources in men and money to run alone. If such a deal is in place, POET will receive all the findings of Apple - after the project is finished. Apple can then use the IP, POET receives the additional findings of the engineers - and hopefully some licensing fees and an excellent reputation.
