Just read your post SN. I understand how you view the issues as well as your sense of things. Your reasoning is very logical but we are NOT dealing with logical people re this issue specifically. You mention the FN and hit a sore spot with me. I must tell you that regarding that major issue (the fn) you are right. I cannot get past the corruption and graft that is pervasive within the hirearchy of some of the bands. Add to that the "feelings of entitlement" that is also pervasive,

And then, the scary part is how the cart gets overloaded. Everyone jumps on for a free ride until the horlse can't pull anymore. The way every band in, around and outside the area wants a piece of the action.. I could go on but I won't.

Then we have the politicians and I'm sure you are right about the votes being in South Central Ontario. So illogical and inept that it's scary making decisions on our future. I mentioned in an earlier post that it was my view that the tides are turning regarding this issue of votes/popularity etc... simply because I have spoken with a few and the ROF is an issue they are all aware of. Some are beginning to mention it as a platform for election. This has never occurred before to my knowledge.

As for Ciffs I don't believe they planned on shouldering the cost of the road or railway. They were always of the mind that the Govenment should pay. I'm sure they felt wiser than the Canadian Politicians and by the way I witnessed some hobnobbing with some Cliffs guys, it was kind of embarrasing. Like spending a day with Wayne Gretsky or somethin like that. Sucking up. You still hear them,,,Cliffs this and Cliffs that.

As an investor I don't want to wait around at all. My view is that as soon as some talks turn positive the sps of NOT et al wll increase significantly. Even an E/W route, if it appeared to be eminent would spike some share prices. Thats as far as I can see at this moment. its been too long already. As I said before. It won't be that long a second time. All it will take is a turn re economics and somebody wanting to get the deposit out.
