It was the gov't rep for ROF....Greg Ricford...Minister of State, Science, technology, Fednor and ROF. The subject of the talk was ROF. 95% of the speach was about things that had zero to do with the ROF. It was all political rhetoric.

One would logically expect him to say SOMETHING about the ROF in a speach the advertised topic of which was the ROF. Don't you think....????

You are right though. You would think by now that I would be conditioned enough to know that a politician would be nothing but political at all times. How could I have been so naieve as to expect him to say anything about progress, plans etc that are being made regarding the ROF????

No matter how many times polititians disappoint me I never really lose that work ethic belief that some people actually are non beurocratic and get things done.

If my father were still alive I would have a talk with him and explain to him that hard work isn't always the best policy. He would probably disown me at that point.
