Thankyou Sculpin and Tweetybird for your explanation about the dividends. I do realize that some people on the stock market strictly go for the ones with dividends. That is their choice.

What concerns me, is that every time i get into something that looks like a good thing, someone smarter than me finds a loophole, stabs me in the back and i end up paying the price. I didn't come by my user name by accident.

This one gold anomaly on the tesoro property, I believe the A4 vein, which measures 1800m x1700m x1300m really could be the thing that dreams are made of, as Murray said. and that is just the tip of the iceberg as to the tesoro project alone, not to mention all of the other properties owned by SLI.

This stock is unique. Anyone on this board probably thinks this is a stock to keep (including me) because it just seems too good to be true. Let's just hope that when(not if) this mine is sold, that there will be a dividend for the shareholders, and that the shares we own truly are the gift that keeps on giving.

Although i don't think the SLI management teem are back stabbers (they would not have gotten as far as they have, with the long time shareholders who are loyal to the cause, if they were) there is the slightest possibility that since they have never paid a dividend in the past, and so many research/analyst companies say that they do not give dividends . . . they don't have to.

Although the Bloomsberg Report looks to be a standard result in the place for dividends (It is the same response for IGD as well) it can be interpreted in two ways. Would it not be a better response for that section to say "has never paid dividends" rather than "does not pay dividends". Clarification is necessary. This could not only affect our share price (and i am not trying to do that) but the share prices of many of the junior exploration companies involved with these research/analyst reports.

I hope i am still invited to Hog's mortgage burning party (even though i burned mine last Christmas) and i am still invited on the SS St Elias when this huge gold mine is finally sold. I hope the size of Lori's heart and her giving nature extends to the share holders in regards to dividends, and I hope you can forgive me for asking the question about the dividends because I believe it really needed to be asked.
