LL, I have no way of conveying my insight through this board, there's a lot to it, however, in general, the pieces are simple to understand. I have put up the pieces, however, they make no sence to anyone unless they follow up on their own.
Start by making some discoveries of what a UNIX list type non-contiguous structured environment is. Then compare that, to a non-contagious linklist type environment.
Then, compare their differing conditions, to a contiguous structured environment.
Upon completion of the above, read 5787445(Operating system with improved file system) and you will be amazed.
Like the Verizon lawyer said in the video posted on this board yesterday....paraphrasing ...IP law is laboriously boring, however, following the principles of the tech is quit interesting.
Once you start, you may find the principles of the above interesting and come to understand that there is but a very finite way of organizing data.
With that, you may care less of what RP has to say.
