One might observe the phrase "the only rights you have are the ones you can defend". Apparently the FN are in a position to defend at this moment in history. There appears to be enough of a consensus that this is so otherwise what we are witnessing would not be happening. Are we seeing "right vs might" winning the day? History has rarely allowed that to happen. Personally I'm glad that someone has taken the role of custodian whatever the reason. If a better managed "ravaging" of northern resources is the outcome then I say well done. Only time will tell. We wait to see.
