Claiming that you have special rights because you are first somewhere is the trouble. The world has seen this for thousands and thousands of years from the middle east to europe and north and south america the right to claim where you stand and are born are being overrun with claims of where one of my ancestors stood 1000 years ago. When do you become native? I agree that the longer you stay in an area and can protect it and use it, then that inherent right is valid but when an area comes into unuse then it reverts to the right of anyone to lay claim. If you can't prove you still inhabit then this world will have someone else inhabit. The chinese or the russians could of traveled the world and taken land for use instead of the spanish viking and english and french, but they didn't have the shiping technology and the risk to travel across oceans. Instead they travcel across lands. If we went the way of first nations have forever rights then the africans can claim the world.
