If you read many of Hoov's posts regarding the rules governing the release of news, you will see that there is an obligation to release drill results in a timely manner.

Thus the great debate about why NOT has not released any news since drilling continues.

I do not believe these rules change just because companies are in talks.

Unfortunately it seems that there are many ways to get around the rules. The recent release by NOT said something to the effect that chrome grades were so high they had to send out for a second opinion. How would anyone prove that their excuse is not valid?

The more I learn about the markets in general the more I understand that everything is manipulated to some degree. I even heard that the mafia has ways of manipulating the markets. Next thing you know it will be Osama Bin LAden.
