I just gave you a thumbs up for that post. People in positions of authority who find themselves (obviously) ineffective should resign their post/yield to another who is better qualified.

As for blame, I largely agree, though I believe we are more than justified in blaming the USPTO for many of our recent past and current woes. If they had performed as most of us believe they should have, and if their actions were positive as we expect they would be, and if the PPS moved as a result as we would reasonably expect, most of the other "issues" would be a lot less relevent. I recognize that there are several "ifs" in there, but most all hinge on one thing - the USPTO.

I mean really, three and a half years on the '336, and we sit waiting for them to realize/acknowledge that they are just looking at things that have already been thoroughly examined? It's beyond ridiculous.
