You bring up some valid points. I would like to counter with my opinion based on extensive research on electrovaya over the years. First we have to realize that lithium ion batteries are extremely difficult to manufacture and every battery manufacturer I know of has had difficulties with developing their batteries. Some of these problems have been very public and others have managed to remain confidential. In researching the battery manufacturers I have found developmental problems with every co. Electrovaya had some serious quality issues manufacturing their batteries in the past. I believe they have finally overcome their previous manufacturing issues and have greatly increased the automation of their batteries. From what I can see based on recent development of the 2.0 battery the battery is performing well and the manufacturing process is much improved with good quality. This is my reason for confidence in their future, that the quality is much better and the battery is performing well. Electrovaya has always stated that their battery is much cheaper to manufacture because they do not use NMP and the cost of handling that chemical is not part of their manufacturing cost. I believe they are cost competitive but do not know for sure. When we look at the recent developments and announcements since the development of the 2.0 battery we see they have added a couple of important members to the management team, they have announced some new deals in several different areas, they are running three shifts and weekends and continue to hire. When speaking to IR they are solid in their commitment to the guidance they offered earlier and seem confident in the future. It is my belief that the previous quality issues was the reason they did not recieive repeat orders and companies did not want to partner with them. I think with the new blog on their website we will have questions answered and be kept more informed. The next few months will be critical in evaluating where they are going.
