Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
If I recall correctly, the, "kry board golden times," only allowed OT during off-Market hours and weekends. True OT during regular Market hours was only allowable to a certain few. Bannable OT was defined as anything other than towing the line of being 100% bullish about Fung and the company. There were many that were banned for noting their true opinion. Most recent was the Wolf, who only stated an opinion contradictory to those who went and started their own board.
Now we seem to have folks that want true OT unrelated to Crystallex allowed, which might be achieved. There is also the group saying that they do not want to wade through OT messages, which can also be achieved. Some of the people complaining are the same in both camps. I suggested possibly having folks label their posts appropriately for the courtesy of those not wanting to wade through OT messages. If there are other suggestions or ways to help those who do not want to wade through a bunch of off-topic posts, please note them as there are many who want to know the ideas.
Unfortunately, there is the group with their own redefintion of what OT is - that redefinition being any opinion other than 100% bullish hopes about Crystallex should be deleted/banned as OT. This was the redefined OT used to ban many in the past. There is nothing wrong with having hopes, but controlling board opinion by redefinition is not the way to go. Agoracom cordially provides a board in which opinion about the company, officers, sector, related companies (where board members have sat), the government under which the company operates, etc are fair game for member opinion, whether that opinion be positive or negative. Some might say the family and friends of the company board are also fair game, but my opinion is that would be somewhat crossing the line. Although, if off-topic is now considered acceptable, then that point is moot.
To repeat, Agoracon #1 and #2 should be held to strictly. OT messages should be noted by authors. Please, Hub leaders, provide your opinions so that a concensus can be reached.
