Michael...as with many topics of discussion on this board....there exist two opposing views. This is an example of that. I suggest we define our terms regarding time frame. As I see it...Hugo will either "postpone" the upcoming election (based upon grounds of 'national security') or he will rig and steal the election. His goons will be placed at all polling places and any accusations of voter fraud will be met with "beat downs" and imprisonment. The students have indicated that they will be keeping a "close eye on the polling places". Don't count on it. They will not be allowed anywhere near the polling places. I think we can all agree that "The downfall has begun" is a valid statement but it offers little value with regard to the question at hand: "When will the downfall occur".

I gather you feel Hugo's reign will be over by the September elections at the latest....with the possibility that he might be ousted by force prior to that. Let's call this "view #1".

I believe that Hugo will still be in power (one way or another) after the September election date. Let's call this "view #2".

So here we have two opposing views. We'll know which view is correct by this coming September.

As I stated earlier. I hope "View #1" is correct but I do not believe this to be the case.
