It's not a negative or a positive... It's just Hugo's lawyers telling them to get some "evidence" of wrongdoing by KRY for them to use to fight the inevitable arbitration hearing.

A couple of weeks after they threw GRZ off Brisas, they "discovered" a couple of barrels of cyanide on the property and quoted that as "evidence" that GRZ was secretly mining Brisas without a permit!

That's such a transparent ploy with "evidence" "discovered" after the fact that even the Venezuelan lawyers must have said there is no way we can present this as evidence of breach of the concession agreement when it was "found" weeks after GRZ had been thrown off the property.

So, in anticipation, they are trying to get some "evidence" to justify their failure to honour KRY's contract prior to the actual formal filing of the dispute. What could be beter than "proving" that KRY failed to pay, failed to fulfil their obligations, or paid graft to a corrupt official.

That's why they are bringing this up again, because whether KRY was aware of it or not, you can be certain that someone was skimming off at least some of the money KRY was paying and providing that those people are now no longer in favour, they will be sacrificed along with KRY. Of course if they still have Hugo's ear, the result will remain uncertain.
