look, i've been pretty negative (especially on kry mngt and RM in particular) as of late..

BUT! there are only three possible scenarios to this chancellor investigation that i can see and none are negative....the best news to me is just seeing "crystallex" in the NA's mention....we have all suspected that kry is/would be nationalized and that is already priced in to the PPS..this investigation can only speed up the end result...

possible scenarios-

1- nothing comes of it and it disappears like so many "investigations" in venezuela

2- kry is found to be in violation of the contract and the contract is cancelled. off we go to arbitration. better than watching our PPS erode 1/1000th of a penny per day....this will also cause chancellors case to be overturned, make hugo and company look like complete a-holes for keeping chancellor jailed all this time and cause all kinds of dirt to start flying within the ven leadership...how will rangel answer where these payments went and why the 30mil dollar water treatment plant is made out of cardboard?

3. kry is found to NOT be in violation.... best possible scenario.... how could the ven govt dare to let kry go to arbitration after they were found to be in compliance by the whole f'n govt! they would'nt have a leg to stand on....this is also the only way that chancellors prison time could be justified and save hugo's face at a crucial time...this could actually happen...

the only possible scenario that i can imagine that could really hurt us with this is: kry mngt is hiding some really shady stuff that would come out in the investigation and in public...if i believed that would happen, i would have sold out today....
