I attended the meet tonight. We did not receive the pass yet, but Baltia is expected to hear from the FAA on their decision by Janurary 15th. If not they are prepared to take appropriate action! The meeting went very good on the 16th per the Baltia staff. They received a letter from the FAA today that stated they understand that the slide issue is a industry wide problem. Baltia is very optimistic that the FAA will either pass them or do a R1 deployment. They have not given up and will keep fighting until they are certified. I truely was hoping that the Choovers source was really true, but we still are in the game and I truely feel that the FAA understands that we are not at fault and will work with Baltia to get thru this!
