Frankyly I'm sick of the speculation here regarding politics in Ecuador and I'm going to start emailing some knowledgeable neutral parties and maybe even invite environmentalists from Ecuador to come to this thread as well and explain their case.

Please do. Don't forget to point them to my post suggesting we establish a spectacled bear reserve on our concessions. I wasn't joking about that. Spectacled bears are getting scarce and need protection. I recommend we stop exploring the remaining property and turn it into a bear reserve, financed with some of the gold from FDN. There's lots of gold in the world, but only about 2000 spectacled bears. Gotta get our priorities straight here.
