Interesting question.
When I originally invested the president was Noboa and the mining climate was very positive. Given the fundamentals at the time I don't think the mistake was in the investing but in the sticking around too long. I think on retrospect that groceryboy may have gotten this right.
On the other hand if the mining law comes out positive and we get to make a decent return than I think the whole thing will be forgotten fairly quickly. This deposit is just too good to ignore.
