Kemo, that's the strategy I always said I would take too. But if the stock price did get to, say, $100, well, for me, that price would guarantee me financial freedom and then some for the rest of my life. So do I sell my shares while the price remains around $100, or do I wait for dividends from the sale of the property, and keep my shares for the next round of cashing out? Would I be able to live with myself if something out of our control made everything go south, and I missed my chance at getting $100 a share? Tough call to make, as has been said, we should be so lucky if we have to make that decision!! I don't think one really knows what his reaction will be until we get there and we're actually living it. But fundamentally, yes, I do agree with your strategy.
