IMO

If we open at $50 some morning, you can be garanteed that will be the opening bid on the Tesoro. The other possible bidders, knowing that its probably worth $100 per share wont be long putting in a bid. Having said that, the sp should float right around the $49 dollar mark or $55-$60 in anticipation of a higher bid if the market knows what the stock is worth. At that time , when a bid is made, you get the analysts on TV and all the publicity, saying that the stock is probably worth more, pushing it up. A new bid could come at anytime.

Personally, if I had good reason to beleive the stock was worth $100 per share, I would sit and wait. All our DD is pretty much telling us its worth around $100, so why sell one day for $50 and you wake up the next morning and we are sitting at $75 because of a new bid? Its up to each individual what they choose to do, but it would seem foolish to throw hundreds of thousands of dollars away for no good reason. You can be sure, if we get a bid for $50, there will be better bids to follow. If you dont have to sell, it may be a good idea not to, and wait, giving more support to the sp.

If you dont know what to do with all the money, there are charities out there that could use it.

Just a thought, the small guy with ,lets say a couple thousand shares will probably like it better if everyone held out for a bigger bid.

Sometimes a bigger bidder doesn,t come, as was the case with Ventana. We most likely will be different if it is speculated that we have a 100 mil/ozs. We will be coveted by more than 1. I really don,t see us being taken out by the first offer that hits the table, unless its a fair one and is based on what we beleive we may have.
