Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Goldenboy, what I should have added to my "Call me crazy" message was that I've waited this long for permits, so I have no problem waiting longer to take advantage of the 2011 TFSA contribution, if the sp is still down in early Jan.
I can see that you're getting frustrated again. When that happens to me I ask myself "Have any of the fundamentals changed?" So far the answer to that question has always been "no". There is no reason to expect that SLI will not receive permits. I think the fact that Lori can not and will not tell us even a general time frame when the Peruvian gov't has promised the permit, again reinforces that we could be sitting on something so huge that everything has to be done strictly by the book, no slip-ups in process, and above all else no loose lips. If this was a property that was seen to have mediocre or average expected value, then maybe mgmt would be comfortable stating a general timeframe in which they have been promised a permit. Not the case here. The potential of this property grows with time, and as such, so does the lock down. That's all good in my eyes. Don't forget, Lori used to be a broker, so she's probably seen the results that unintentional sabotage (i.e. loose lips) and poorly executed plans have on a company's success.
If you've waited this long, there is no reason why you can't wait longer. Hang in there!
