The old carpenters saying is applicable to the McFaulds plays..
I think PRB is taking the correct approach.... These anomolies present good targets, and NOT got lucky drilling into a massive sulphide deposit on the first hole. That is not the norm!
I like the PRB approach.... redo the airborn.... which they have done.
Do some soil sampleing... which they have done..... MMI defining specific ions that indicate the presence of a sulphide deposit.
Ground loop mag, to identify and verify the target in better detail. Soon to be in progress.
Then drill with a better risk/ reward of hiting the target.
NOT has a very defined target... and with what is already known, they still miss on occasion. I would hate to see the same type of anomoly dissregarded because the first hole came up barren alongside a massive sulphide lens. This is what scares me about the rush to drill of some companies... They plunk one of 2 holes in an airborn indicated anomoly and miss..... then walk away......
Nice to see that BMK has hit massive suphide on a couple of these targets.... but they also indicate that the anomomolies in some cases are not identified... I would have prefered to see about 6 to 8 holes into each of these anomolies but only after doing more ground truthing to better define " target " or "no target." Measure twice cut once!
PRB is doing it right....JMHO
