Given the company's horrendously weak financial position, were I a signer of a non-disclosure agreement, and held a substandard set of ethics, I may wish to assist LBSR toward bankruptcy by stringing them along with promises that go unfulfilled. Then I could pick up the pieces at bankruptcy prices in such a way as to never be personally identified for violating any agreements. 

No, that can't be possible.  The international mining community has to be above that, doesn't it?  Besides, we don't have any promises going unfulfilled here, do we?
