Wow. What I dont understand is why this isnt being covered more in the mainstream media. I get the mainstream has an agenda and everything is currently revolving around the political climate here (which in my opinion a large number of current events are exaggerated, manipulated, and flat out lies being pushed by all sides but one side more than the other. And politicians need to stop and realize the offices they hold are given to them by the people and the offices shouldnt be used as an opportunity for self serving, self enrichment, and an attempt at power. At the same time citizens of America need to realize we call the shots, not the politicians. They are supposed to answer to us and are in fact our servants, we are not their servants. America needs to realize this sooner than later or we will continue to spiral down until there is a point of no return. Look at the events that happened before the Civil War, the same as any civil war in any country, always an attempt at a grab for power or the result of that grab or fear of such).
Anyway I did not mean to get sidetracked there. Chile is one of the wealthiest countries in South America. Its mining industry has a major impact on the world (as I understand anyway) but the situation down there is an after thought and something you literally have to search to get information on. Im not saying it should be the center of US news but I would think its something that would be mentioned every now and then. The news went bonkers over Venezuela and when oil fields in Saudi were attck by drones it was headline news. I guess oil is still king? It may take a while but eventually (possibly in my life time) electric will be king and perhaps copper his queen. Although I am sure we will continue to use oil for heavier needs (Planes, trains, ships, large trucks, etc) probably past my life time.
Its terrible for the people what is happening there but maybe it will open a door for us at Hay Mountain. Even a knock at the door would be nice
