Nineteen dead in riots, congress evacuated.  Attempts to quell the situation are not working.  Watch for this to get worse over the weekend.

If this gets worse, expect state-owned Codelco to pull in their horns, and other large miners there to increase investments elsewhere.  I think it took a decade for that country to get back to normal the last time an extremely Leftist government shifted to the extreme Right.
