RS, yes, I would agree, there IS a downside to taking too long to find the "right deal." But first there have to be offers from which to choose. There have been none, as least in so far as we shareholders know.

Having said that, there may have been informal suggestions/expressions of interest without discussion of terms, but offers/deals have to be in writing. When presented, that information has to be released to shareholders, whether JB likes it or not. Bad or otherwise unacceptable offers can then be formally refused by the BOD

In this case, then, and as we have not heard of any such offers, we have to conclude that there have been none, and that there is no time being consumed in "taking longer to find the right deal at HM."

Therefore, the company is still in the mode of trying to develop expressions of interest, one or more of which which may result in an offer.

...just the way I see it.
