sman...e.Digital now has a sizable history of litigation understood by a multitude of big name attorneys.
If an appeal is positive for e.Digital, those attorneys know the score and will advise the defendants of the circumstances.
e.Digital is not a patent troll, they invented the IP they are defending, and soon everyone will know that the I/O operation for the operating system variants belong to e.Digital...lock, stock and barrel.
We've had to take the long way around to get that point across, however, in the end it's all for the best. This is what it took to enlighten the industry of what e.Digital does and has through multiple versions of patents....774, 737, 108 to date...and if the court really wants to understand what e.Digital teaches...they should review 445.
If the appeal is understood by the court and they favor e.Digital...that will seal the IP issues of ownership going forward....uncontested.
The I/O methods are what the defendants have focused on from the get go...and what e.Digital has had to contend with....The I/O is simply unique to the Operating system environment e.Digital has come up with and does not function in any way similar to the status quo.
