IMVHO, no one on the outside knows why Edig and Apple settled or on what terms. I sincerely doubt that Apple came to Edig on bended bleeding knees begging for mercy. We are also dealing with different patents in the two ongoing batches of suits. The appeal relates mostly to 774. The latest 40 are about only 108 to my understanding so we are talking about apples(no pun intended) and oranges. The case for 108 may in fact be quite strong while the others are more fuzzy and will be dependent on the appeal. I have zero idea as to the potential size of possible settlements, that is if they can come to terms. I hope the share price rises like a roman candle on the 4th of July, but I would not expect a meaningful jump on Tuesday morning. Other settlements and requests for ENE's and settlement offers have not moved the needle. Maybe mid Feb. when we find out the settlement amounts for last quarter or certainly if we could announce a sale or a licensing agreement.
