most definitely....

IMO, what the industry does, is borrow on the Read utilizing the simplest data arrangement.....contiguous.... and Write to that arrangement in the same fashion.

contiguous data are not capable of the edit functions.

We allow the simple form, and say, carry on as you wish under your own contiguous devise.

IMO, in giving a license for flashR only....all they get to experiment with is the simple contiguous form......if we give a license extended to all patents, they get to experiment beyond that boundary.

However "if you wish....we have this ability." where you do not have to experiment.
