"What was your immediate thought when he made it..."

1st, let me set the stage to remind everyone how this came up.

1. The meeting had not been called to order..it was about 1:45PM.
2. The room of 50 chairs, their conf room, had no more than 40 people at the time. Most were sitting and many were mingling in the hall right outside the door.
3. The Sandisk offer of $26/share being rejected as "under valued" was being discussed amongst many, and someone in the back of this very small room said to the effect, "what would we take if offered" or something close to that?
4. Answer via RP: "We are not for sale for less than $21."

My 1st reaction, was to turn to the Man to my left and say, "I would take $21/share in a heart beat." No, I did not think RP was crazy....but I must say the comment shocked me, as my 61 year old brain tried to do the math!!

Some think there is no buyout or even the possibility of such, and I am one of many who feel it could happen.

My cup remains 1/2 full on this subject.
