No. A favorable Markman ruling for EDIG, does not exactly "validate" our claims against Samsung, or our patents but it helps a lot. It's like a screening process which, with a favorable ruling, would strongly indicate that the claims, etc... have merit in the eyes of the court.
Following a favorable Markman ruling for EDIG, I think the next step would be either a settlement or further pursuit through the courts if a satisfactory settlement agreement could not be reached.
