If I were Samsung and the DM offer to settle was low as all 6 have been, then I would settle now.

If on the other hand if DM was looking for 10-50 million, I would go to the Markman hearing.

Just because we have 6 settlements in the bag, that doesn't prove or validate that our patents are strong enough to win any more suits, much less the remaining 180.

It become a business strategy, and I would take it all the way. I think too many on the board believe that we have totally validated our patents, but a settlement doesn't prove the issue one way or the other.

We will really hgave a mess if they take it to the markman hearing, probably no more filings, no new product development, and no guidance on future revenues.

I don't like what I see emerging as to fiscal year 2010.
