As RP stated to me a number of times, (paraphrase) "The Markman hearing is the most important part of dealing with the infringers. This is what we are pointing for, a successful Markman hearing. After that the settlements will be huge in comparison to LG's".

With 3 settlements to date and more likely in my opinion, our chance for receiving a favorable Markman Hearing ruling has increased by a hundredfold. Large, consumer electronics companies, with $hit tons of engineers and butt loads of attorneys, don't settle unless they feel they are beat. I'm betting the Court agrees.
