e.Digital functions independent of erase blocks...utilizing a very tiny cache foot print. If you do some research, you will find that all systems are designed to function within the constraints and particulars of the individual erase blocks. e.Digital functions with a serial construct of data at the read/write block. On that serial construct they have the ability of non-contiguous data segment structures through out the whole matrix of the flash. They more or less through there timed management techniques... treat the whole flash as one big erase block.

That would be considered a significant aspect.

IMO...they're never going to define technical aspects.
