"Enlighten us on how you know, are we to take your word for it"

emit...if you have read the patents involved in what we are discussing, you will understand it.

"if a byte is 1-0 bits and flash is etched into the mcp-substrate they gota map it initially - ergo to know the oucome; Maybe they just don't call it mapping."

With regard to memory IC's, their method of management does not map... They're not concerned with the physical substrate parallel or serial....they have methods to implement either.

However, a serial(the simplest to produce with density) environment is much harder to implement at the level of management and complexity that they are capable of.

emit, the only thing I can tell you, you have to take the time, as I have done, and study the patents...Everything you want to know is right there....including the explanations of their not having to map.

Thing is, you can't just read their patents and understand them, unless you study or understand the current methods of management.

It's not about the the physical cell structures of memory....except when comparing efficiencies....
