Per my discussions with RP DM expanded their scope as a result of their conclusion that EDIG's patents were not only valid but more significant than first thought...hence more companies beyond the 174 already noted. (my interpretation)

It does make sense to go after a Vivitar if you think settlement is more likely, and part of an all encompassing strategy to then go after larger companies.  However, weakness comes as a result of being in violation of the patents, and whether you're Apple or Vivitar, the patents are the patents.  I suspect by weak you meant smaller company that would see settlement as a good solution.  The Apples of the world may not be so forthcoming and might try to litigate....thank goodness we are trying this in the Rocket Docket....makes for a much more streamline process, taking many of the "weapons" away from the Goliaths.  Also, an "Apple" has a lot more to lose monitarily, which has shareholder implications....

This is a great time to own this stock...
