Actually, don't you think the Apples and Samsungs have more to lose than does a Vivitar?

I think DM is very confident in their case and wants to establish that in court before seeking higher damages/settlements with larger companies whose revenue streams from handheld portables is in the billion dollar category, such as cell phone makers and MP3 players.
