Having the ability does not equate to having the will when it comes to the steps necessary to identify, prepare, and finally to prove such 'granularity' in court. You speak as though it's easy. I think it's hard. At best, it's a matter of comparing the relevant patents - and then it's still argueable. At worst, it's a matter of reverse-engineering the technology  - and that's time-consuming and costly. There are better, more expedient ways to go.

Intel may be infringing at a granular level - using our methods as their own (and probably very nicely wrapped up and hidden from casual view). But that battle will have to wait for another day, IMO.
