Actually, most of the large international players whose names have been tossed around here do already have mining divisions.

As to the comment on 'mine it ourselves'; herein lies the rub. With mining comes time (as in years to production), financing and RISK. Mining is not risk free, especially over a 25 year period. Junior developers like AE are geologists not miners. So these projects just naturally get sold off. We will have to wait for the PEA but you can safely assume that the higher the IRR and profit noted on the report the higher the minimum value the BOD would look at.
