Probably like a lot of you I’m nervous that a general market decline may occur say Dow 10,000 by April/May, what would the effect on Tyhee be? The flip side some news could come out and the stock could go up before or during a market decline. One option I’m considering is shorting the gold index as a hedge, Bob Hoye mentioned this recently as well, also if the funds are long the majors and short the juniors then in effect I would be taking the opposite position, with hopefully the market risk hedged out. HGD.TO is the inverse fund and it has a x2 leverage, so say one had a 50K stake in TDC, one could short the major gold index with 25K or even half again just to ease the “pain” somewhat, I’m guessing that if the major markets were down big time say with gold correcting as well the downside risk for TDC would be .37ish, which thinking as I'm writing is only around 15%
