Tada,
Maybe times have changed with all this social media "stuff" but having worked in M&A, I highly doubt that a BO will take the time to read our boards. Let's not kid ourselves here
Typically companies want to acquire other target companies when the revenues stream will be accretive to their own strategy while not canabolizing their own product lines. That would be a financial disaster.
These same acquiring companies, if they know what they are doing, will also not buy a company as a defensive strategy play simply to buy it before someone else does in order to just retire the company they just bought all together.
So, no, to your question posed to fouremm, I personally don't think that they will look into our social media forums about our management UNLESS they are acquiring the company FOR management because they want to acquire a new competency which here is not the case in my view
But sometimes management is the key and you need to acquire the talent. With RVX, there is a while lot of talent to acquire on the science side. That's huge! But maybe not leadership and that's ok.
Whomever either partners with and/or acquires RVX is it to win it and wants to assure themselves a new future revenue streams in perpetuity with the specialty science talent of the company which I remind everyone has NOT left!
The complexity here is what value is RVX actually? Not sure anyone knows and thus the conundrum.
