That is very interesting Bear!

The way I read it now, is that this hedge fund was essentially collecting insights from our forum for the last several months, reading up the comments from people like Bear (and other deep science types).  Then they ran some basic MACE rate estimates.  Finally, to buttress their "research report", they came up with some over the top scientific claims (perhaps to show how "different" they were?...after all it is being marketed to potential investors) and out came the 56 page report.

At least that is my conclusion.
