I took a stab at explaining the eGFR issue in this post just now. I believe median eGFR at baseline of 99 mL/min/1.73m2 and max eGFR at baseline of 599 mL/min/1.73m2 are possible. A young, very obese male with a below normal creatinine level could register around 599 mL/min/1.73m2.
