"One way people can deflate the price of a security is by placing hundreds of small orders at a significantly lower price than the one at which it has been trading. This gives investors the impression that there is something wrong with the company, so they sell, pushing the prices even lower. Another example of manipulation would be to place simultaneous buy and sell orders through different brokers that cancel each other out but give the perception, because of the higher volume, that there is increased interest in the security. So you're saying that RVX investors...
1. Have Level II (I do!).
2. They can see how many orders there are at each price (I can't).
3. They see lots of small buy orders below the current price. They get freaked out if they see buy 20 orders totalling 5000 shares at 1.80 rather than 2 orders totalling 5000 shares at 1.80. So they dump their shares.
4. Or they see lots of small buy orders and lots of sell orders. They get amped. They buy, buy, buy!
The evidence that any of that is occuring? Is that why RVX dropped from a high of 2.39 last week? It's kinda like claiming 3-5 million illegal voters.
