Hey Chengjoo!
Your very welcome man. I am just glad that this board is back at it and we're all contributing and talking about these things:)...it got a bit boring at one point lol.
I agree though with that NOT comment. QEC is a lot closer to production and not to mention the assets in QEC's portfolio exceed that of NOTs.
QEC bought out a company called Magnus Energy last October for a great price. It has a huge play in the Antler region(Bakkan)...so yes, QEC is right in there on that play....they are using horizontal frac technology and are currently 7/7 for every well they have drilled. I believe the amount they said that they have is 70million bbls light oil.....with a high netback in Saskatchewan. Of course, they are using new technology with a higher rate of recovery on that 70M....
Now with that said, the news I read many months ago, which is new to most Norwegian investors, is that there is probably 4-5billion bbls oil recoverable in that region....so it leads me to believe that the 70M reserves to QEC may be understated and that there may be a LOT more oil to our interest than many have suspected before.
Hope to have you join us soon!:)
Rocco:)
