I think that we are overlooking the obvious. This property was optioned from Keith Metcalfe ( Chief Exploration Geologist- Energy Division of Kodiak ) I doubt that Kodiak went looking for this property. I would guess that Keith approached management with a proposed deal.

One question is. Why did Keith approach Kodiak? Well, it would be easy for Keith to get managements attenton as opposed to approaching other companies.Hopefully Keith has faith in Kodiak and felt that the shares of kxl he will receive will at some point be valuable.

Why would Kodiak want it? Well, they are not paying a large price, they trust Keith and maybe there is good potential there . They could also jv it off to someone and have a piece of another property. This is called growth and not putting all your eggs in one basket.

Bottom line, this was just an opportunity that presented itself and could be done at an acceptable price. JMHO Rico
