Sparta: This business about fire the CFO because he is incompetent has got to stop. The point has been made over and over ad nauseum. Let's take another approach and support the guy . We are growing fast with little staff and little money, I think a dose of support would be much better than criticism and back stabbing. Ultimately, everyone associated with Poet wants Poet to succeed as I am sure the directors want Poet to succeed. New ways of doing things are always hard to incorporate, people are slow to accept change so let's let the directors do their job and hopefully, we will all be winners in the long run. We are so close to the finish line, let's stop cutting our noses off to spite our face.

Sparta, I think you have a very meaningful point. Over the years I have found many of your posts to be harsh on management. So when I read your post it was uplifting to me.

Rockley just appointed a new CFO whose job it is to focus on driving cash-efficient performance.  Rockley has burned through $100’s of millions.

Rockley Photonics has raised a total of $448.5M in funding over 9 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on Oct 3, 2022 from a Post-IPO Debt round. Rockley Photonics is registered under the ticker NYSE:RKLY. Rockley Photonics is funded by 10 investors. Medtronic and Senvest Management are the most recent investors. 

We need to appreciate just how much POET has achieved in a very short period of time. On a small fraction of the money Rockley has burned through. 

POET at this point in time in my opinion has a level of diversity that continues to expand. The potential for a very powerful company is rapidly approaching and I believe Sparta has the correct and very realistic approach which is very helpful.
