Mono:"The wording of the news report says "$26 million consideration". To me, consideration means "the act of being considered"

In Law:

study.com
1) payment or money. 2) a vital element in the law of contracts, consideration is a benefit which must be bargained for between the parties, and is the essential reason for a party entering into a contract. ... In a contract, one consideration (thing given) is exchanged for another consideration.
Additionally, How is it Poet would be fully divested if they owe us "two payments of US$13 million and US$5 million, which are expected to be made on or before December 31, 2019 and May 31, 2020, respectively? " It's doubtful they are just plain nice business folk that'll fork over the $5 million 6 months early in spite of their contract.
